Ishida, Orihime and Yoruichi arrive in Soul Society’s Rukongai after being chased through the passage by the cleaner, Capturing Thrust. Ichigo hastily tries to get into the Seireitei where Shinigami live, but has to first defeat a giant, Herculean man who has not been defeated in 300 years. Ichigo successfully does so, but when the gate is opened for them, the one who meets them, is the 3rd division captain.
